Supporting people coping with death by violence.

Victims of Homicide Support Society of Edmonton is a self-help group designed to offer emotional support and information about surviving the loss of a loved one to murder. The group provides ongoing emotional support to help people deal with the pain of their loss and rebuild their lives.

Victims of Homicide provides a meeting place where bereaved persons can come together on a monthly basis to share their grief and recovery.

Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month at the Central Lions Senior Centre, 11113 – 113 street, Edmonton, AB. Please contact us for more information.

You are not judged.

Facing the death of a loved one is never easy. When murder occurs, pain, anger, and grief are compounded by the crushing realization that a precious life was intentionally taken.

We're Here to Help

You are not alone.

What happens at a meeting

Most meetings begin with introductions and each survivor telling of their loss. Acceptance and support are important principles of group support.
